KTGY’s Principal Ken Ryan has been invited to participate in the Orange County Chapter’s Building Industry Association (BIA) and Urban Infill Committee and Asset Opportunities Group's program, “Creating a Community within a Community: Neighborhood Spotlight: La Floresta Brea," on Thursday, June 2, 2011. La Floresta is a multi-generational, mixed-use community that offers new housing opportunities, jobs and amenities on a prominent urban infill site in north Orange County. The meeting will be held at the Irvine Ranch Water District's Duck Club meeting room.  Aaron Hodgdon Named CoStar Power Broker; Hodgdon Group Listed Among Top Leasing Firms
Aaron Hodgdon, president of Hodgdon Group Realty, has been honored for the second consecutive year as CoStar Group’s Power Broker in the retail leasing category. His firm, Hodgdon Group Realty, also made the prestigious Power Broker list for Top Leasing Firms in 2010. Construction has started on Pottery Court Apartment Homes, a new high-quality, pedestrian-oriented apartment community in Lake Elsinore, Calif., developed by BRIDGE Housing and designed by KTGY Group. The new residential community offers 113 apartment homes ranging in size from one- to three-bedroom units for working families earning between 30 and 50 percent of the area median income. Pottery Court is expected to be completed by April 2012.  The Taj Mahal Medical Center in Laguna Hills Signs 10-Year 6,700 SF Medical Lease
The Muller Company's Taj Mahal Medical Center in Laguna Hills, Calif., has signed its first medical lease since the start of construction and the official rebranding of the project in March 2011. Sea View Pediatrics will occupy 6,700 sq. ft. for 10 years, beginning August 2011. Suites from 700-5,600 sq. ft. are available. The Taj Mahal Medical Center, located across the street from Saddleback Memorial Hospital at 23521 Paseo de Valencia in Laguna Hills, is a 78,853 sq. ft. 4-story “mid-century modern” landmark building that is undergoing a $3 million transformation to convert the project to 100% medical over the next 2 years. Ennis Fire Training Centre Opens

Craig T. Chinn, Studio Director for KTGY's Retail and Commercial Studio, has been invited to participate as a roundtable facilitator at the International Council of Shopping Centers’ (ICSC) annual RECON, The Global Retail Real Estate Convention held from May 22-25, 2011, in Las Vegas, NV. Chinn's breakfast roundtable discussion, which will be held on Monday, May 23, at 7:00 a.m., will focus on repositioning retail and commercial centers. The roundtable discussion will help developers know what the cost of repositioning a project from one use to another. There will be multiple scenarios and the costs associated with each type of design element. For example, attendees will learn what the cost implications are to add a store front to an existing block wall.  The Muller Company Expands Management Portfolio to 608,000 SF in San Diego and Adds Two Property Managers
The Muller Company now owns and/or manages nearly 608,000 square feet of office, retail and medical space in San Diego County, Calif. With the growth of its portfolio, The Muller Company has added two property managers, Maya Hausmann, CPM® as property manager and Christina Kitchen as assistant property manager. Hausmann will serve as the property manager of Rio Vista Tower III in San Diego, Torrey Pines Court in La Jolla, and Beachwalk Retail Center in Solana Beach.
