 Stater Bros. Markets Celebrates Grand Opening at New 100,000 Sq. Ft. Neighborhood Center in San Jacinto, CA
Stater Bros. Markets opened its second store in San Jacinto at the northeast corner of Ramona Expressway and State Street at The Village at San Jacinto Shopping Center. Stater Bros. is part of a 100,000 sq. ft. neighborhood center under construction by Pacific Development Partners of Beverly Hills, CA. The new center will also feature Walgreens, Carl’s Jr., Del Taco, PFF Bank & Trust, Starbucks, Juice It Up!, Subway, Charo Chicken, Little Beijing, PostalAnnex+, Los Portales Mexican Restaurant, Professional Nail Salon, DB Sunwear, a drycleaners and a donut shop. Carl’s Jr. and Del Taco are expected to open within the next 30 days, and the remaining tenants are slated to open by end of July or August 2007.
 KKE Architects Adds Gregory A. James To Head Up Fast Growing Retail Division

James to head up the Irvine office’s fast-growing retail division. James was formerly the Project Director and Director of Operations for MCG Architecture in Irvine, Calif. Bringing nearly a decade of project management and retail merchandising experienced to KKE, James will be responsible for the development and management of the office’s retail projects through all phases including preparation of project budgets, design, contract documents and construction administration. KTGY received three Merit Awards for “Best Affordable Project - Under 30 DU/AC” for its College Vista in San Mateo; Nuevo Amanecer Apartments in Pajaro; and Royal Court in Morgan Hill. The event will be held May 30 – June 1, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center. David Obitz will be a panelist at the session “Moving Up: Opportunities with the Urban Mid-Rise” on Thursday, May 31, from 10:30 am – 12:00 noon. Highland Development Adds Two Seasoned Managers to Expand its Opportunities in the Western U.S.
Highland Development Company, a subsidiary of The Marcus & Millichap Company and a dynamic retail and retail-driven mixed-use development company, announced that the firm has hired Armando Enriquez as Acquisitions Manager and Vladimir Shlafman as Development Manager to expand acquisition and development opportunities throughout California, Arizona, Nevada and Utah. Enriquez will be located in the company’s headquarters in Pasadena. Shlafman will be located in the company’s new San Ramon office. Highland Development plans to spend $150 to $200 million on development projects in the next two years. The Hodgdon Group, a full-service real estate brokerage, development and construction management company based in Colton, has commenced construction on a 75,000-square-foot, state–of-the-art, vocational training center for Summit Career College, Inc. Falcon Real Estate Enters into Joint Venture with Developer for $25.3 Million Office/Retail Project in Temecula, CA
Falcon Real Estate Investment Company has entered into a joint venture agreement with Transcan Development for the development of the Winchester Commercial Center in Temecula, CA. The 74,166-square-foot mixed-use center will consist of six free-standing office buildings totaling 45,750 square feet and two multi-tenant retail buildings totaling 28,416 square feet. All six office buildings in the center have been pre-sold and the retail portion of the project is about 30% pre-leased. Construction of the center will commence during the second quarter 2007 with a projected completion date of December 2008.  KKE Architects Leases an Additional 6,500 Sq. Ft. at Existing Location in Pasadena to Accommodate Rapid Growth
Award-winning KKE Architects, Inc., headquartered in Minneapolis, with offices in Las Vegas; Pasadena and Irvine, Calif., announced today that the company has leased an additional 6,500 square feet at its existing location in the historic circa 1924 Star News building at 525 E. Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena to accommodate the firm’s rapid growth. KKE moved into this building two years ago because they had outgrown their previous location in Pasadena. Now KKE will occupy two floors and a total of 15,000 square feet and have the room to accommodate 70 professionals. The Hodgdon Group, a full-service real estate brokerage, development and construction management company based in Colton, has been selected by the number one RV dealer in the nation and the largest dealer in California, Giant RV of Montclair, Calif., to handle the design, entitlements and construction management of Giant RV’s $2.5 million redevelopment and expansion of its existing RV center in Murrieta, Calif.
