 New to the Western US -- $175 Million Lifestyle/Retail/Entertainment/Multi-Media Showcase Destination to open in South Gate, Calif.; KTGY GROUP Selected as Architect

Award-winning KTGY GROUP, INC., Architecture and Planning, has been selected as the architect for The Gateway in South Gate, Calif., a 600,000-square-foot lifestyle, retail and entertainment destination which will be a multi-media showcase unlike any other development in the western United States and located in one of the most densely populated regions of the nation. The $175,000 million project, which is a joint venture between Red Mountain Retail Group of Santa Ana, Calif. and Allied Retail Partners of Newport Beach, Calif., will be a "Celebration of Brands" similar to what is found at New York’s Time Square. The project will feature the latest in digital and graphic technology transforming signage and building faces into spectacular, colossal, kinetic media content and dazzling animated digital displays. The project is slated to be completed by May 2008.
 Gregory N. Hoxworth to Lead Highland Development Group as CEO; Michael J. Singelyn Named Director of Development
Highland Development Company, a subsidiary of The Marcus & Millichap Company (TMMC) and a dynamic retail and retail-driven mixed-use development company, announced that Gregory N. Hoxworth has been named Chief Executive Officer and President. Additionally, Michael J. Singelyn has been appointed Director of Development. The Indian Wells office of CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) announced today that developer Bernard White & Sons of Rancho Mirage will hold a ground-breaking ceremony on Tuesday, March 21st, at 10:00 am for Palm Springs’ newest Class “A” office project, the Gene Autry Trail Business Center, located across the street from the Palm Springs International Airport at the northeast corner of Gene Autry Trail and Tachevah Drive. Transcan Development is under construction on Canyon Crossings, a 90-acre, $150 million retail/Class "A" development project at I-215 and Highway 60 in Riverside, CA. Anchored by Wal-Mart Supercenter, a 50,000-square-foot John’s Incredible Pizza, Wickes Furniture and LA Fitness, Transcan Development recently signed leases with Staples, EasyLife Furniture, Hooter’s restaurant, Jason’s Deli and Joey’s Seafood & Grill. Additional new tenants also include U Build It, Fresh Cleaners, Happy Nails, Verizon Wireless and Cingular Wireless. LA Fitness and Wickes will be the first tenants to open in spring 2006. Additional retailers and restaurants will open by the end of the year and in the first quarter of 2007.  KTGY GROUP Selected as Architect for County Crossings 250-Acre Mixed-Use Project in Antioch, Calif.
Award-winning KTGY GROUP, INC., Architecture and Planning, was selected by Transcan Development, LLC of Alamo, Calif. as the architect for County Crossings, a 250-acre mixed-use development project located in Antioch, Calif. Situated at the intersection of Highways 4 and 160 in Contra Costa County, County Crossings is one of the largest remaining developable sites in the Bay Area offering freeway frontage. County Crossings is planned to feature approximately 1,200,000 square feet of retail, 250,000 square feet of office, a transit oriented residential village, and a proposed Light Rail BART Station, which will sit at the nexus of the project.
