 S2 Services Updates Its Freeware Excel Recovery
S2 Services updates its Excel Recovery freeware. MS recommends several methods for recovering Excel data from corrupt spreadsheets. Excel Recovery makes it easy to follow the recommendations to save your file in the SYLK format, save in HTML format, set calculations to manual, open in the Excel Viewer, open with open & repair and open with extract data, open in safe mode, open in WordPad and use the external ref method. It adds one repair and two extraction, plus one previous version methods of its own. The only other available freeware on Internet for corrupt Excel Recovery, is also made by S2 Services and is now deprecated as the upgraded program incorporates the deprecated one's functionality.
