We have heard of the stories and sacrifices made by many of our brave Founding Fathers. Just who were all these people that contributed to this great nation over time?
'America the Beautiful', is an anthem written by Katherine Lee Bates and music by Samuel Ward. It celebrates the mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters who made the USA a great country. But – who were these heroes and heroines that made America beautiful? They included writers, engineers, doctors, nurses, musicians, architects, politicians, artists and business people. Now there is a book about their outstanding achievements called Amazing Americans.
