Job opportunities in the renewable energy industry will increase tremendously with Washington’s proposed green budget. President Obama’s proposed energy budget is a clear indication that Washington is serious about environment and energy independence. While promoting the recovery plan with secretary Chu, he said, ''Your mission is so important and will only grow as we seek to transform the ways we produce and use energy for the sake of our environment, our security – and our economy.'' The US Department of Energy has also estimated that the demand for electricity will increase 50 percent in the next 20 years.
