Legal professionals are putting in more and more billable hours in work, according to The Legal Intelligencer. The drastic attitude shift of associates and partners is said to be a result of rising apprehension of their job security amidst growing economic instability and incessant layoffs in various law firms. LawCrossing, the premier legal job research institution, added more than 15,000 new legal jobs to its site in a single week, giving more job options for anxious legal professionals. The total legal job count today stands at about 131,297 unfilled legal jobs.
