NewAge(R) Industries’ Employees Walk for Charity; Team Members Help Others & End Up Helping Themselves in the Process (2011-11-23)
Three of NewAge Industries’ team member committees – ESOP, Wellness, and Helping Hands – worked together to help those in need. Three charities benefited from the employees’ efforts, and employees became healthier themselves by literally walking an extra mile. The team wore pedometers during October and made charitable donations upon reaching milestones of five and then ten million steps collectively. The group also held a clothing drive and is now working on a food drive and Toys for Tots.
Newflex(R) PVC Tubing from NewAge(R) Industries is a Lightweight Option for Suction Applications (2010-11-01)
Newflex spiral-reinforced PVC tubing avoids the bulk and weight of ply-wrapped rubber hose. Newflex resists kinking and crushing and handles pressure or vacuum applications. It’s available in food and industrial grades and three styles—heavy, standard, and light duty. Newflex is chemical and corrosion resistant and has a smooth inner surface for maximum flow of fluids, air, or granular materials. NewAge(R) Industries To Go Solar With Rooftop Solar Panel Array; Will Produce 50% of Energy Needs (2010-09-22)
Plastic tubing manufacturer NewAge Industries will have 4000 solar panels installed on its roof that will generate more than 50 percent of its electricity requirements. The company received state and federal grants to help fund the project, which should be completed during the first quarter of 2011. The rooftop array will produce one megawatt of electricity and help NewAge pursue green initiatives. NewAge(R) Industries Welcomes Bill Keiser as Director of Quality; Brings Extensive Knowledge & Experience (2010-08-24)
Keiser brings nearly 30 years experience in the field of quality to the plastic tubing manufacturer, which serves both industrial and clean-application industries. He is involved with both the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and ASTM (American Society for Testing of Materials) at the committee level. Keiser’s credentials and knowledge will help all NewAge’s team members maintain the company’s high level of product quality. Hot Bond(R) from NewAge(R) Industries Eliminates Cumbersome Bundles of Tubing & Saves Money (2010-07-21)
Tubing bonded with heat, not adhesives, helps customers save time and money on installations by eliminating multiple line routing. Hot Bonded tubing also saves space over bundles, shows a professional appearance, and offers easier line traceability for quick troubleshooting. Four bonding styles are available: permanent, strippable, skip, and tubing bonded to electrical wire. NewAge(R) Industries Once Again Honored as Finalist in “Top Small Company Workplaces” Contest (2010-06-28)
For the second year in a row, the plastic tubing manufacturer was selected as a finalist in a competition sponsored by Inc. magazine and Winning Workplaces(TM). NewAge was one of 40 finalist companies chosen from over 500 entrants. A national panel of experts in leadership noted that NewAge does not stand still with its product line. It continues to innovate and adapt to its customers’ needs, and that contributes to its 56-year history of success. PVC Tubing Lined with Hytrel(R) Combines the Properties of Two Durable Materials (2010-06-08)
Hytrel-lined PVC tubing from NewAge(R) Industries satisfies different performance requirements for the interior and exterior of a tube. It’s flexible, durable, and suitable for both food and industrial applications. The Hytrel lining is odorless and tasteless and offers low permeability. The PVC jacket resists abrasion, shock, and U.V. while it insulates the tubing from electronic interference. NewAge stocks Hytrel-lined PVC tubing for immediate or JIT shipment. Raymond Baker, Founder of NewAge(R) Industries, Remembered (2010-02-04)
NewAge Industries announces the passing of Raymond E. Baker, its founder. Baker started the company in 1954. He imported hardness testing equipment and PVC hose from Europe and grew the company into a multi-million dollar business. Today NewAge is owned by his son Ken and concentrates on plastic tubing and hose, fittings and clamps, and, with its AdvantaPure(R) product line, solutions for high purity fluid processing. NewAge(R) Industries Now Offers Polypropylene Tubing as a Replacement for Costlier Fluoropolymer Tubing (2010-01-07)
Prolite(R) polypropylene tubing from NewAge Industries works well in many applications as a less costly alternative to fluoropolymer tubing. Prolite provides excellent chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, and high dielectric strength. Typical uses include potable water supply, food and beverage processing, chemical transfer, compressed air lines, electronic and household appliances, and dispensing equipment. 1 2 >> |
