Inspiration, controversy and corruption (2007-01-21)

The Crescent City is not the only birthplace of Louisiana police officers who have authored books. Police-Writers.com continued to add to the listing of state and local police officers who have authored books. Added were BJ Bourg, Charles Stoker, Tom Lange and Phillip Vannatter.  Pushing past 600 (2007-01-07)
With the addition of four new authors, Police-Writers.com, a website dedicated to police officers turned authors, reached 225 state and local police officers who have written books; and, pushed the total number of books written by those officers to 606. Military-Writers.com, a website listing current, former and active United States Military personnel who have authored books, added its first three military writers: Richard Huffman, Chuck Chambers and Raymond Foster.  First Writer to be listed as both Police and Military (2006-12-10)
Police-Writers.com, a website dedicated to police officers turned authors added Chuck Chambers to the list of local police officers who have published a book. Additionally, Chuck was the first writer to be added to a new website that lists all U.S. Military personnel who have ever written a book – www.military-writers.com. Steve Russ, a retired police officer from the State of Michigan, has introduced a new safety innovation into the law enforcement, corrections and military community (LECM).
