European Day of Languages 2008 (2008-09-16)
This year Article 13 will celebrate the European Day of Languages (EDL) by promoting the event in a variety of European languages on our website. We will also raise awareness and encourage our network to join the celebration by placing the logo and link on our email signatures in the lead up to the day. CSR experts, Article 13, today announced successful completion of phase 1 and 2 of their website accessibility programme. Article 13 reviewed accessibility standards and enhanced the design, navigation and editorial content of the company’s website to ensure access by the widest possible audience.
New Batch of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR ) Case Studies Launched (2008-07-22)
Article 13, the CSR and sustainability expert, has published a new batch of case studies profiling the initiatives being undertaken by four members of the Confederation of British Industries (CBI) to embed and integrate corporate social responsibility in their mainstream business strategies. The CBI members showcased in this edition are: Arup, DHL Express, HMG Paints and National Grid. This CSR case study series is published quarterly by Article 13 in partnership with the CBI. 2008 is the 60th Anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights. It is also one of the 4 areas of advocacy included in the UN Global Compact’s (UNGC) commitment. Therefore it is with special significance that Article 13 has published its 6 month Communication On Progress (COP) detailing actions and commitment to Human Rights, as well as Labour rights, the Environment, and Anti corruption. 1 |
