Tubing of Viton, a high performance synthetic rubber, is available in both 60 and 75 Shore A durometers for a wide range of uses. It offers chemical resistance, withstands temperatures from –30°F to 400°F, and possesses the high resiliency of an elastomer. Applications include appliances, chemical transfer, hot lubrication feeds, o-rings and seals, fuel and oil lines, cable jacketing, exhaust lines, solvent transfer, and peristaltic pumps.
