January 16, 2006 (FPRC) -- "Evan, The Warrior of Nod" is the adventure of Evan Isenar, his sister Greta, and friend Moze. After moving to a new country Evan has trouble with fitting in to the new school because he is so different. With his parent's working in Umbrae’s Old World Artifacts Museum, Evan finally is allowed to visit. This is where he discovers a fascinating artifact that he cannot resist. Stepping into the biggest adventure of a lifetime, Evan, Greta, and Moze quicky discover what life is like on your own. When Greta becomes lost Evan and Moze must search for her, but they will have to be determined if they want to find her. This is where the true adventure begins. Bonds are made and true friendship is gained all because of one boy's curiosity.

Tamara hopes that children and young adults come out of this not only using their imaginations, but to learn how to see themselves for who they are. No matter what adults say, children of any age are targeted for the way they dress, act, look, or where they are from. Evan has to face responsibility, courage, patience, understand love, have respect, be determined, and learn what true friendship is about. These are some of the things that Tamara hopes is seen not only with the beginning book, but in the second and third.

Tamara Shepherd was born in Piqua, Ohio in 1970 along with her four older brothers, and one older sister. Growing up in a wonderful country home with a hard upbringing and living in a less than modern environment has given Tamara the values that she charishes today. Now married with three children of her own, she shares those values with her children. Living each day to the fullest she is proud to be able to dedicate her time to her future novels.
