KeepStakes is the new name for Tree from Me

Midlothian based, internet business Tree from Me has changed it’s name to KeepStakes. The company supplies garden plaques, engraved with your personal choice of text, to be placed in front of a special tree or plant. Whether you want to mark the birth of a new child or grandchild, a wedding, anniversary or even the passing of a family member or pet, an engraved garden plaque makes sure that the memory never fades.

January 17, 2006 (FPRC) -- The change of name from Tree from Me to KeepStakes was as a direct result of customer feedback around the difficulty of remembering the "Tree from Me" name. KeepStakes was chosen as it more aptly describes the product - which is, in essence, a garden stake.

KeepStakes was set up in June 2005 by Julie Begbie to address the lack of unusual celebration gifts. She says, “This is a unique gift, and I am really proud of these great personal presents. The customers gained since the launch of the company in June 2005 have provided fantastic feedback and it is really rewarding to be able to provide the opportunity to give an unusual thoughtful gift. The personalised nature of the gift shows that a lot of thought has been put into the choice. Once planted with a tree, it is a truly lasting gift that will be enjoyed for years after more traditional celebration gifts have been stored away or worn out. KeepStakes are memorable and lasting - the perfect way to mark a milestone.”

If you are considering this as a gift idea, the aluminium plaques can be presented in a gift box – including tree seeds or National Garden Gift Vouchers to purchase a tree. The weatherproof, long lasting plaques are 11cm wide and 30 cm high and cost from £19.99 (plus p&p). Find out more about KeepStakes online at www.keepstakes.co.uk, email orders@keepstakes.co.uk, telephone 0845 833 0039, or write to KeepStakes, 1 Waterloo Bank, Penicuik, Midlothian, EH26 8NS.
