Travelling? Serviced apartments are cheaper!

The cost effectiveness of serviced apartments makes them an ideal second home for expatriates as well as business executives from overseas who require comfort to work and relax during short-term projects.

February 24, 2006 (FPRC) -- According to a recent survey carried out by Executive Roomspace, companies increasingly require accommodation for serviced apartments between 1 and 6 months.

Foreign banks and multinational companies are providing accommodation at different levels in the company hierarchy -- from trainees who are given shared accommodation to senior management who are provided with one to three bedroom apartments, which can also accommodate their families.

The advantages are more spacious accommodation, usually including lounge or sitting area, quieter location, with increased privacy and security, a running household equipped with amenities such as a full kitchen, washing machine, fridge, television, air conditioning, Internet and telephone connection.

"Serviced apartments work out cheaper than hotel suites. Incidental costs are lower too, as residents can get food and other services from outside," says Charles McCrow, Managing Director, Executive Roomspace.

Today, Executive Roomspace (ERS), a market leader in short term serviced apartments, ensures that business travellers can confidently book an apartment. Specialising in stays of 1-month plus where even greater savings are possible. ERS offer properties throughout Greater London, including, Canary Wharf, Clerkenwell, Fleet Street, Kingston, Marylebone, South Kensington, The City, Twickenham, Victoria and Wimbledon as well as throughout the Home Counties, the M4 Corridor to Swindon and Bristol beyond.

The serviced apartment market has emerged as a most cost-effective alternative to hotel accommodation and, at times the only option to consider. High in comfort, low in cost with complete consistency. Three C’s that provide a good benchmark for anyone needing to stay, for whatever length of time, away from home.
