February 27, 2006 (FPRC) -- This new website is run by Mark Petty from his base in Cambridgeshire, with a little help from
his one year old son who's brushing up on his telephone manner. The business is coming into
its second year and Mark certainly knows his "rubber ferrules" from his "Acacia walking sticks".
Fully appreciating the mind-boggling choice of sticks available and the difficulty of selecting
the right one for the unanitiated, Mark has built up an intimate knowledge of walking sticks and
their respective accessories, so you don't have to!
Mark comments: "2006 promises to be good year for us as people are demanding
ever more stylish, lightweight and practical sticks, which fortunately for us, we
have in stock year round. With the staggering choice available, we are here to advise
and help our customers to make the right choice.
I have learnt from my suppliers and customers, more than I ever imagined I would, about walking sticks."
While the Derby canes and silver plated collector's sticks were popular in 2005, adjustable
and lightweight folding sticks take the style trend further for 2006. Folding sticks are
available in (amongst other designs) tartan and paisley and the popular floral and
brush strokes designs.
The folding sticks are designed to fit easily into a handbag making them ideal
for the traveller or for a user needing only occasional support. They all have wrist straps
so that the user can free up their hands when required to.
The range available also includes; Brass canes, Silver plated walking sticks, Natural Wood sticks, flip seats and
shooting sticks.
