PALM SPRINGS, CA – The Indian Wells office of CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) announced today that developer Bernard White & Sons of Rancho Mirage will hold a ground-breaking ceremony on Tuesday, March 21st, at 10:00 am for Palm Springs’ newest Class “A” office project, the Gene Autry Trail Business Center, located across the street from the Palm Springs International Airport at the northeast corner of Gene Autry Trail and Tachevah Drive. City Councilman Chris Mills will be the event’s special guest speaker at the ground breaking.
According to the project’s leasing agent Thom Gottberg of CBRE, “The market demand for new Class “A” office space in Palm Springs is needed. We feel very confident that Gene Autry Trail Business Center’s prime location, flexible building design and outstanding amenities will offer a quality office environment for the corporate and business community.”
The new $10 million project will consist of two buildings totaling approximately 46,000 square feet and will offer a flexible building design with suites ranging in size from 990 to 14,500 square feet. Lease rates for the professional office suites start at $1.65 NNN per sq. ft. Covered parking and suites with mountain views are available.
“With easy access to Interstate-10 and the Coachella Valley, the Gene Autry Trail Business Center will provide companies and professionals with a high profile location across from the Palm Springs International Airport and adjacent to the Bird Medical Complex, Federal Express, and the new Jack Nicholas Designed Championship Golf Course at the new Escena residential/resort development,” says Gottberg.
The three-acre business park, which is designed by Ware Malcomb of Irvine, is expected to be completed late 2006. The general contractor is R.P. Wages, Inc. of Redlands.
