May 30, 2006 (FPRC) -- DataSplice 3.0, the updated facilities maintenance software, is now based on Microsoft’s .NET technology, enables users to access multiple databases using a single application, and can streamline data entry with its highly “customizeable” interface. Users can work in real time, offline or a combination of both, depending on connectivity availability. The field service package is popular amongst utilities, public works departments, manufacturing and other public and private sector concerns requiring a mobile CMMS interface.

Kat Pullen, Head of Business Communications at DataSplice said “We are very excited by the release of 3.0. Now, field service technicians have even more flexibility in data entry and access while on the road or at a job site.” She added, “Administrators can quickly configure the input screens to combine tasks, and provide data entry options not generally provided out of the box by desktop applications. Purchasing agents will love the concurrent licensing program, and management will appreciate the time savings by elimination redundant tasks and paperwork.”
