June 10, 2006 (FPRC) -- Today marks the official launch of a new website, RatedTV.com. RatedTV.com is offering a website for users to rate and review all the television shows they love and all the television shows they hate. RatedTV.com is dedicated to giving visitors access to user reviews and allowing them to rate and write their own reviews, free of charge. The service offered by RatedTV.com makes it easy for television viewers around the world to comment on their favorite shows immediately.

On the front page, the visitor will see a list of both popular news and entertainment television shows rated from highest to lowest, based on the RatedTV.com total average rating. The users of RatedTV.com have various points, on which to rate television shows on a one to ten scale, with one being the lowest score and ten being the highest score. There are four areas that users will rate the sites using this scale: characters, acting, and personality, story, plot, and writing, production quality, sets, and cinematography, and an overall rating. The overall rating is a weighted average based on the total number of reviews for each website, and displayed under the title, “total average rating”. The user also has the option for arranging the view of the rated sites, from highest to lowest, by clicking on the corresponding column heading. Another factor reviewers are able to report, is whether or not they would recommend the show they reviewed, by responding with a simple “yes” or “no”. There is a written reviews section allowing the visitor to write their personal comments and opinions of the television shows being evaluated.

RatedTV.com makes it easy for television show viewers to quickly submit a review, suggest a show not already in the database, and go directly to the latest reviews. Visitors may also choose to just read all the ratings and reviews of a particular program, and that is made possible by using one of the drop-down menus. The two drop-down menus allow the users to go directly to the ratings and reviews for programs from an alphabetical listing or from a genre listing of programs.

RatedTV.com expects to become more popular as more user reviews and ratings are added, with visitors discussing the top television shows of the moment. With the ease of use and its free availability, RatedTV.com expects to provide a valuable service that visitors will appreciate and recommend it to others.
