No Reason for Immune System Decline: Adjunct Therapy in HIV
A new daily supplement provides immune-system support when combined with conventional treatment and optimizes immune function while increasing viral resistance.

June 21, 2006 (FPRC) -- Lake Orion, Mich. -- The immune system is a defense system that stands between hostile microorganisms and humans. When the immune system fails to recognize these invaders, disease results.
There are various reasons why the immune system fails: time; exposure to different toxins; stress; and viral invaders like HIV.
"There are very effective drugs for fighting off most bacterial invaders that include potent antibiotics," Tom Peters, of Immune Assist 247, said, "but the story is not the same once those invaders become a virus. Once a virus becomes established in the body, it is there for life unless the immune system becomes educated against it and maintains an adequate defense."
What can be done? There are some anti-viral drugs available that work well in some people. But they are far from perfect. They are all highly toxic and quite expensive. Often times, the treatment is worse than the disease. A secondary approach that must be taken is to do everything possible for optimizing immune support.
"This is where Immune Assist 247 and other immune-modulator supplements come in," Peters explained. "By using daily support that has been shown to assist immune function, not only is one able to avoid or delay the downward spiral caused by a collapsing immune function, but also increase immune- function means."
The ingredients in Immune Assist 247 are known as immunomodulators -- mushroom derived immune enhancers and green tea extract; they have been used in cancer-therapy worldwide and are proven to be effective.
"Immune Assist 247 is so effective," Peters said, "that the government of South Africa has approved its use for HIV treatment and the United Nations is negotiating for 130,000 dosages a day for the foreseeable future."
Peters has assembled a web site to educate the public about the supplement, allowing them to do their own research on the subject at http://www.ImmuneAssist247.com.
"There are many web sites that present options for assisting HIV patients," Peters said. "Most of these products are combinations of various vitamins and minerals. With Immune Assist 247, we have not added any special vitamins, but have concentrated on the natural compounds that legitimate scientific research has proven to be effective."
