Focused on providing world-class services in a calm and intimate spa setting, Pure Liquid Skin Studio offers treatments for women, men and teens and offers the finest skin care products in their retail lobby.

July 7, 2006 (FPRC) -- LAS VEGAS, NV-- Licensed aestheticians and owners Maria Monteiro and Jenea Laxton have created a cozy and friendly environment that not only promotes relaxation and rejuvenation through a unique menu of skin care treatments but also strive to educate their clients in the practices of healthy skin care. Special attention is given to the unique needs of each client and a prescribed skin care regimen is designed to carry on the work that has been done during a visit.
Clients have their choice of facials, body treatments, massage therapy, hot rocks, waxing, microdermabrasion, and airbrush makeup. Pure Liquid’s luxurious services also include combination packages with many treatments the spa offers, including skin and massage specialty treatments.
A variety of facial treatments deeply cleanse, exfoliate, soothe and tone the skin. From the Classic Facial to The Elements of Four, the ultimate in skin hydration and detoxification, clients are able to achieve and maintain a healthy complexion. Microdermabrasion provides clients with the ultimate exfoliation and promotes cellular renewal while diminishing fine lines, hyper-pigmentation and post acne scars.
Pure Liquid Skin Studio also offers a number of body treatments, like the Crème Brulee Glow, which features a crème brulee sugar glaze exfoliation followed by a decadent layer of crème brulee whipped shea butter which melts into the skin. The Seaweed Detox Wrap eliminates toxins through a treatment of seaweed paste applied to the entire body. A replenishing shower follows along with an application of cooling moisturizers leaving the skin cleansed and purified. Other body treatments include the Hydrating Coconut Body Wrap, Sacred Stone Therapy, Pure Liquid Body Polish and Cellulite Treatment. Customized Body treatments are available to target any unique client needs.
Massage Therapy is performed by Nanette Fader and Jessamyn Kear, licensed massage therapists. Massage services include Swedish, Trigger Point, Deep Tissue, Sports and Manual Lymph Drainage and are offered in thirty, sixty and ninety minute blocks. Facials, Body Treatments and Massages can all be purchased as a series at a reduced cost.
The retail lobby carries a complete selection of Phytomer and upscale Vie skin care lines, as well as body products from Body Systems, skin care products by Tend Skin, Lotion Glow candles, Awareness Life Vitamin Supplements and many other unique skin care treats.
Pure Liquid Skin Studio is located inside the Horizon Ridge Commons at 2411 West Horizon Ridge Parkway, Suite 120. Services are available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday through Sunday and 9 am to 7 pm, Tuesday through Thursday. Appointments for services can be booked by calling 702.228.1110.
About the owners:
Maria Monteiro – Licensed Aesthetician
Maria comes to Las Vegas by way of Boston, MA and the Cape Verde Islands before that and brings over 25 years of spa experience. A graduate of Elizabeth Grady’s School of Aesthetics in Boston, Maria has enhanced her aesthetic skills at Spa Technologies in New York City, the Phytomer Training Centers in Saint Malo, France and Salt Lake City, Utah and Spa Training Workshops in Florida. She also has been trained as an airbrush makeup stylist from the Westmore Academy in Burbank, California.
After managing the Elizabeth Grady Salon in Boston, Maria was hired to open and manage the first Euphoria day spa in Las Vegas in 1996, from there she moved to Liaisons Day Spa in Henderson until the opportunity was right to open her own studio in January of this year with her partner Jenea Laxton.
With a focus on keeping up with the latest advancements in skin care, Maria concentrates on both beautifying her clients’ skin as well as educating them about ongoing skin care.
Jenea Laxton – Licensed Aesthetician
Jenea is a native of the southwest region having spent most of her life in Prescott, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada. Her initial aesthetic training took place in Las Vegas at Rollers Beauty Academy and she was soon employed at Euphoria as an aesthetician and retail specialist. During this time she continued her training through the Phytomer Institutes in Saint Malo, France and Salt Lake City, Utah. After four years at Euphoria, she moved to Liaisons Day Spa in Henderson and continued her training through classes in Intensive Microdermabrasion Treatments, Make Up Application and Body Therapy. In January of this year she, along with Maria Monteiro opened up Pure Liquid Skin Studio.
Jenea prides herself on a caring and professional approach to skincare and hair removal. She truly enjoys her profession and the opportunity to help her clients look and feel their best.
