Coreland Hires The River at Rancho Mirage’s Karen Wagner as New Mall Manager at Palm Springs Mall
Coreland Companies, one of the largest privately held commercial real estate service companies based in California and the new property manager for the Palm Springs Mall, recently named Karen A. Wagner as mall manager of the Palm Springs Mall. Wagner brings to Coreland considerable marketing, public relations, operations and financial expertise in large scale shopping centers. Wagner most recently served as the assistant general manager and marketing director for The River at Rancho Mirage, a 227,000-square-foot waterfront shopping and entertainment center.

September 12, 2006 (FPRC) -- TUSTIN, CA – Coreland Companies of Tustin, Calif., one of the largest privately held commercial real estate service companies based in California and the new property manager for the Palm Springs Mall, recently named Karen A. Wagner as mall manager of the Palm Springs Mall. Wagner brings to Coreland considerable marketing, public relations, operations and financial expertise in large scale shopping centers. Wagner most recently served as the assistant general manager and marketing director for The River at Rancho Mirage, a 227,000-square-foot waterfront shopping and entertainment center.
Hopkins Real Estate Group (HREG) of Irvine recently acquired the 315,000-square-foot Palm Springs Mall in Palm Springs, Calif. and awarded the management contract to Coreland. HREG has plans to reposition and remerchandise the 26-acre property located on Tahquitz Canyon Way at Farrell, in close proximity to both the Palm Springs Convention Center and Palm Springs International Airport and less than five minutes from downtown Palm Springs. The mall is anchored by Gottschalks, Vons, Ross, OfficeMax, True Value and Rite-Aid and is also the annual venue for the Palm Springs International Film Festival at Camelot Theaters.

Prior to The River at Rancho Mirage in Rancho Mirage, Calif., Wagner served as the marketing director for Westfield Palm Desert shopping center. She was voted Business Woman of the Year in 2005 by the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce and alumni of Leadership Coachella Valley, a non-profit organization designed to identify, motivate and develop future community leaders. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science from Portland State University and is a resident of Indio.
