Most experts agree that the reason Google has become so popular for the sheer mass of word of mouth advertisement it recieves, even in schools it is promoted as the "main search engine". Google is lucky because this diverts attention from some of the features their search engine lacks. Daniel Jenkins and his CometQ team are devoted to filling these holes in search engine efficiency.
Many people say that they dont mind which search engine they use, and that different result filters do not interest them, however - everyone likes faster results. Jenkins says: "CometQ uses a type of technology which delivers not only great results, but fast ones too". Not only does CometQ display results efficiently, but it also includes a screenshot thumbnail of every website at the side of the result, making the fast load time seem even more amasing.
Daniel Jenkins is based in the UK and at 16 years of age - used to find it hard to be taken seriously, however due to many succesfull projects he has become a respected member of both the webmaster and programmer community. Jenkins says: "CometQ was never about the money, I have funded the project out of my own pocket and I do not believe public services should contain ads, so I simply do not include them".
