Xhaled.com (a Coolassmike Inc. company) signs deal today with ROK Media to distribute Paintball content related videos through its 3 networks;
1. ROK MEDIA STORE: Similar to itunes model- download to own on your mmc card(chip), which will then play on your phone. http://rokmediastore.com/
2. ROK TV- STREAMING TV on your mobile phone, Currently we have 25 channels in the states and you can build your own package for 99 cents a channel. http://roktv.com/
3. Freebe tv- Which is free mobile tv, but ad supported. Currently on PC and mobile with about 10,000 users since the launch in Sept 2006. http://www.freebe.roktv.com/
Xhaled.com will be producing 5 all new and original shows based on the paintball lifestyle, sport, and all things surrounding paintball. It will be launching with it's first show "This Week In Paintball" on November 6, 2006. New episodes will be released every week thereafter. It will be hosted by Jasmin Vo from the NPPL and Michael "Coolassmike" Bowers from Xhaled.com / Stoned Assassins. This and all other shows will be shot in Hi Definition
There will be 4 more shows to start production the first weeks in November 2006. Xhaled.com will be the first Paintball based Video On Demand site to offer HD programming.
ROK Media is owned by John-Paul DeJoria owner of Paul Mitchell (Hair Products & Salons) and Patron Spirits (Tequila) and now has taken steps to enter the Mobile space since 2002 with ROK.
ROK media is planning to launch there first media store on November 15, 2006. This will be a white-label media store in which Buy.com will be there distribution partner. They currently have a base of 10 million customers.
