KTGY GROUP Names Kimberly Ohara as Design Director in New Denver Office

Award-winning KTGY GROUP, INC., Architecture and Planning, has added Kimberly Ohara as residential design director in the company’s recently opened Denver, Colorado office. Ohara brings nearly 20 years of design experience covering all phases of development, from conceptual land planning through construction administration. In her new position, Ohara is responsible for leading design efforts on both single family and multi-family projects specifically in the areas of density studies, land planning, unit plan layouts, and building architecture.

November 16, 2006 (FPRC) IRVINE, CALIF. - Award-winning KTGY GROUP, INC., Architecture and Planning, has added Kimberly Ohara as residential design director in the company’s recently opened Denver, Colorado office. In her new position, Ohara is responsible for leading design efforts on both single family and multi-family projects specifically in the areas of density studies, land planning, unit plan layouts, and building architecture.

Ohara brings nearly 20 years of design experience covering all phases of development, from conceptual land planning through construction administration. A residential specialist, she has designed luxury estate homes as well as livable communities utilizing creative solutions to achieve densities up to 18 single family homes per acre. Furthermore she has designed products for Shea Homes, Village Homes, John Laing Homes, Toll Brothers, D.R. Horton, Centex, Ryland Homes, Beazer Homes and Lee Homes, Inc. Ohara’s designs have frequently won national awards, including a Gold Nugget Grand Award for John Laing Homes. Most recently, Ohara was one of two designers responsible for leading the design efforts for the Central region of Bloodgood, Sharp & Buster, and was based out of the company’s Denver office. Previous experience included 12 years as a designer for Van Tilburg, Banvard & Soderbergh. Ohara graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Florida.
