Real Estate Partners Sponsors Yellow Ribbon America’s Operation Christmas For Our Troops III—Nation’s Largest Such Event Serving Military and Their Families

The event was announced at a press conference Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at the state capital, and was attended by representatives of the California State legislature and military. Operation Christmas for Our Troops III is the largest Christmas holiday effort in the nation for America's deployed military and their families. Last year Yellow Ribbon America collected over 47,000 toys and DVDs, as well as gift cards and donations for California’s military families. December 6, 2006 (FPRC - IRVINE, Calif.) — Real Estate Partners, Inc., a national real estate investment and management services company based in Irvine, Calif., announced today it will participate as the national sponsor for Yellow Ribbon America’s Operation Christmas for Our Troops III. The event was announced at a press conference Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at the state capital, and was attended by representatives of the California State legislature and military.
A similar press conference will be held Thursday, December 7, 2006 at the Ralphs Supermarket, 3410 West Third Street, in Los Angeles. Press arrival time is 9:45 a.m., and the program is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and members of the Los Angeles City Council and City Supervisors will be in attendance.
“Yellow Ribbon America’s Operation Christmas Toy Drive is a great way to show our troops and their families we appreciate the many sacrifices they make for our country,” stated Tom Thompson, president of Real Estate Partners. “Real Estate Partners has been a proud sponsor of Yellow Ribbon America and this event in particular. With hundreds of drop off points, our goal is to make this season a very merry one for the children and loved ones of our brave military men and women.”
Operation Christmas for Our Troops III is the largest Christmas holiday effort in the nation for America's deployed military and their families. This year’s event marks the third annual Operation Christmas held by Yellow Ribbon America. Operation Christmas for Our Troops is a bi-partisan, statewide effort supported by the California State Capitol for deployed National Guard and Reserve military members, as well as private organizations such as Real Estate Partners.
