Coreland Companies Continues Expansion by Hiring Susan Szabo as Regional Real Estate Manager
Coreland Companies of Tustin, Calif., one of the largest privately held commercial real estate service companies based in California, recently named Susan Szabo to the position of Regional Real Estate Manager. Previously, she was General Manager for Pan Pacific Retail Properties. Szabo will be responsible for supervising the real estate management and operational activities of a portfolio consisting primarily of retail and mixed-use properties located throughout Orange County.

December 18, 2006 (TUSTIN, CA) – Coreland Companies of Tustin, Calif., one of the largest privately held commercial real estate service companies based in California, recently named Susan Szabo to the position of Regional Real Estate Manager. Previously, she was General Manager for Pan Pacific Retail Properties.
Based in Coreland Companies’ Tustin office, Szabo will be responsible for supervising the real estate management and operational activities of a portfolio consisting primarily of retail and mixed-use properties located throughout Orange County. Szabo’s management responsibilities will include all facets of real estate management, including physical operations, tenant relations, lease negotiations, budgeting, reporting and construction management.

The addition of Szabo comes on the heels of Coreland Companies hiring former Vice President, Market Officer for Prologis, Cheryl R. Todd as Vice President Real Estate Management and the promotion of long-time Coreland executives Steven Hogberg to Senior Vice President Leasing Sales and Kathie Sitton to Senior Vice President Finance. “We are very pleased with the rate of growth that we have maintained over the last several years and we certainly don’t have plans to slow down,” said Patrick Galentine, Coreland’s Executive Vice President and Co-founder. “We currently have eight offices throughout California and plan to add several new offices in the next 24 months including offices outside the state in major markets in the western United States.”
Prior to joining Coreland Companies, Szabo served as General Manager for Pan Pacific Retail Properties in Irvine, where she successfully managed over two million square feet, which consisted of 10 neighborhood shopping centers and 310 tenants. During her career, she also served as Property Manager for Regency Centers, a subsidiary of Regency Realty Corporation, where she managed over one million square feet of neighborhood shopping centers in Southern California.
Szabo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, NC and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
