February 12, 2007 (FPRC) -- Beacon Wireless Solutions, leaders in wireless monitoring and fleet tracking, today announced that it is releasing an advanced version of its Dispatch application integrating fleet management solutions that combines its technology with Garmin’s audible turn-by-turn navigation system (Garmin Fleet Management Interface™). Available immediately across Europe, North America, South Africa and the Middle East, the new system leads the way in integrated telematic solutions for tracking, monitoring and navigating fleets.

The company will showcase its FleetMaster product with a link to the Garmin StreetPilot and nüvi ranges of Personal Navigation Devices (PNDs) at the 3GSM show in Barcelona Spain, February 12 to 15, 2007.

“This new version of the application, which is the third generation since our launch together last year at CEBIT, revolutionizes the way companies can manage and communicate with their fleets. Using Garmin’s PNDs, fleet managers can have full two-way messaging with their drivers, download batches of job-sheets and have real time position and ETA information at their finger tips.” said Peter Lash, Managing Director of Beacon Wireless Europe.

The key features of the FleetMaster with the Garmin StreetPilot in-car navigation link include:
• Remote monitoring and control, tracking, alarms, real-time positioning, Estimated Time of Arrival, job status information, and speed reporting
• Automatic routing and directions sent directly to the vehicle from dispatch
• Two-way messaging with drivers
• Garmin’s 3D mapping, turn by turn voice instructions, route re-calculation and estimated time of arrival
• Alarm capabilities including a panic button, intrusion alarms and stolen vehicle recovery
• Flexible GSM/GPRS communication platform
• Easy-to-use web interface for instant access to all fleet data from anywhere
• Easy installation

“This new product will increase productivity and driver safety – drivers can receive the day’s job sheet directly on their Garmin GPS and simply follow the directions to each of their stops. Job completion, exceptions and changes can be reported back to the office and dealt with immediately. The system provides complete real-time information flow to customers who thought they could never afford it,” added Lash.
