Dallas eBay Powerseller auctions forehead as human billboard to advertise during eBay's National Convention in Boston to raise money to attend eBay Live 2007.

Dallas eBay Powerseller, Stephanie Inge, has her forehead up for auction as a human billboard. She is trying to raise money to attend eBay's National Convention, eBay Live 2007 in Boston, Massachusetts in June. The lucky bidder will get to tatoo their logo on her forehead to be displayed for 7 days during eBay's biggest event of the year, where tens of thousand of rabid eBayers will be in attendance.
Stephanie didn't think twice about launching the auction, even though her family and friends thinks she crazy and were completely against the whole idea. It will be very interesting to find out which company purchases the ad space, as eBay doesn't allow its' competitors to exhibit during their convention.
Stephanie says, "What better way to get your foot in the door, than right in the middle of my forehead." eBay Live is off-limits to eBay competitors as this is only open to eBay Certified Solutions Providers and totally proprietary.
This unique marketing opportunity may be the perfect way for those companies to make their presence known during the 5 day event and get their foot in the door. eBay is still the major auction website and Meg Whitman plans to keep it that way as long as possible, in spite of the fact that Google is nipping at their heels.
It is refreshing to know that Guerilla Marketing is alive and well and and up for auction on eBay! The auction is already attracting masses of interested advertisers and doesn't end until March 21st.
