It's not often that the result of your first venture in a recording studio gets radio play all around the country as an independent artist.
But that’s exactly what happened to young singing sensation Kelly-Lynn at the tender age of 12.
Listeners were immediately struck by the beautiful quality of her voice - so sweet and pure it touched people's lives in a deeply personal way.
Everyone wanted to know: who is this amazing singer?
From a humble home in central Florida, a little girl began to wow audiences around the south eastern United States. The massive appeal of her angel-like voice helped to garner Kelly-Lynn international attention and set her on the path to fame - a hard
earned break she will never forget.
Now 17, Kelly-Lynn's career has taken an unexpected turn and provided her with the
opportunity to give something back to other kids who also are following their dreams to stardom.
The talented teen star hosts a new radio show called "Going Global" with Kelly-Lynn every Saturday night on the popular www.xradio.biz/kidstalk station (from 5.00-7.00PM pacific standard time USA).
"As we go along we will be bringing you the very best independent Kid music from around the world and having a lot of fun!," says Kelly-Lynn. "I love doing the show and working with such exciting new talent!"
Kelly-Lynn has blossomed into a lovely young woman with pretty girlie-cute looks, but it's her modest natural charm and charisma that makes her a popular host with fans of the show.
"I would like to help give other talented artists a platform and an opportunity to be
heard," explains Kelly-Lynn. "This is what I am trying to do with my radio show. I think kids that are doing great, positive music should be given the chance to be heard."
And it's not only the performers Kelly-Lynn is reaching out to - but the growing audience of her popular show.
"The kids are the future so we should try to give them really good music to listen to so that the world will become a better place."
Kelly-Lynn is a rare breed of artist who is comfortable performing a variety of different
styles of music.
She has worked with some of the finest musicians from around the world, including Louise Ryan (Charlotte Churches vocal coach), UK composer Paul Weston, guitarist Nigel Jenkins (Gerry Rafferty, Cliff Richard), Ron Dante( Archies, Barry Manilow), and recently recorded with Walt Disney Records.
Gifted with an extraordinary and magical voice that makes your skin tingle and a mesmerizing stage presence, she is in her element doing what she loves best - performing live!
But it's all in a day's work for the LA-based teenager who tries hard to balance her busy career with a settled home-schooled life and studies. Something her fans can easily identify with in this friendly, down-to-earth all-around-entertainer with endearing girl-next-door appeal.
The growing number of dedicated fans to Kelly-Lynn's music page on the popular people networking site MySpace is testimony to the young stars massive universal appeal, and has already seen many new Kelly-Lynn fan pages springing up on
