RapideL, the Rapid eLearning suite developed by Brainvisa enables Instructional Designers and SMEs to author content in the basic MS-Word authoring interface and create engaging eLearning courses in Flash. The suite consists of two tools which can be used independently or in combination depending on the Instructional need:
The basic version of RapideL, Enhance 3.1 enables content developers to create instructionally sound elearning at 50% of the time and costs as compared to traditional elearning development methods. This MS Word based tool has built-in storyboarding templates to create engaging Flash based elearning courseware. RapideL Enhance 3.1 comes with inbuilt robust project management capabilities such as online review mechanisms, issue tracking, support for localization and the ability to publish web versions.
RapideL will soon raise the curtains for Discover 1.0, a tool that will enable rapid creation of non linear elearning from the easy to use MS Word. Discover 1.0 will provide support for building simple branching courses using an intuitive interface to build the branching logic. It will also provide interactive and non interactive flash templates for creating these branched courses. This tool will help Instructional Designers, Subject Matter experts and even Professors/teachers to create courses based on Adaptive Learning, Socratic Learning, dialogue driven or conversational learning.
