March 24, 2007 (FPRC) -- Following recent announcements on their much improved website and free transfer administration service, Northumbria Numbers have decided to extend their opening hours to further enhance the service they offer to prospective buyers of personalised number plates. Realising that most buyers do their internet surfing and purchasing in the evening and at weekends an prefer to talk to a human when ordering goods or services, Northumbria Numbers have decided to stay open later to accommodate the needs of their customers.
The purchase of a personalised car registration is much more complex than that of a book or CD, there are many more things that can go wrong. Customers prefer to speak to the supplier to ask questions and allay their concerns before buying ordering over the phone also removes their doubts about internet security. Most retailers switch over to on line ordering after 5:30 pm but Northumbria Numbers stay open till 9 pm so customers can call and have their questions answered before purchase. Options on the way the registration number can be supplied and transferred can be discussed and extras such as replacement acrylic number plates can be added to the order.
Special situations can be handled at the time of order such as surprises for a partner’s birthday, arranging different delivery addresses and even transferring the number in advance of the special occasion.
Northumbria Numbers opening hours are 9 am in the morning until 9 pm in the evening and they are open 7 days per week.
