April 2, 2007 (FPRC) -- PASADENA, CALIF. – Award-winning KKE Architects, Inc., headquartered in Minneapolis, with offices in Las Vegas; Pasadena and Irvine, Calif., announced today that the company has leased an additional 6,500 square feet at its existing location in the historic circa 1924 Star News building at 525 E. Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena to accommodate the firm’s rapid growth.

“We moved into this building two years ago because we had outgrown our previous location in Pasadena,” said KKE’s director and managing principal Brian Arial, AIA in Pasadena, Calif. “Now we are adding another floor, which gives us a total of approximately 15,000 square feet and the room to accommodate 70 professionals.” KKE presently occupies the fourth floor at 525 E. Colorado Boulevard and will take possession of the third floor on April 16, 2007.

“The new buildout, designed by the company’s interior design team, is an open plan that promotes working as teams and captures KKE’s creativity in a high energy, comfortable work environment,” noted Arial.

What’s the reason for KKE’s outstanding growth? “KKE Architects has a great reputation for exceeding clients’ expectations, which builds strong client relationships and referrals,” said Tom Gerster, KKE’s president and COO. “We also have a culture that attracts top talent from other companies and a management philosophy that rewards excellence and creativity.”

Matthew Heyn of CB Richard Ellis in Universal City represented KKE in the lease negotiations. The landlord, The Mika Company of Los Angeles, represented itself.
