April 12, 2007 (FPRC) -- SAN ANTONIO, TX— Banking relationship manager Tom Duran has joined the Advisory Board of ForAccess.com and will serve as a banking advisor as well as customer relationship coach.

“My current job requires me to work closely with business owners to help identify their needs, suggest the right solutions to meet those needs, and then help them maximize their business,” said Duran. “We are delighted that Tom is joining us. His experience as a relationship manager, his knowledge about finance, and is general concern for the interest of consumers makes him an ideal advisor for our members,” said Jeanne Fuller, President of ForAccess.com.

ForAccess.com is a consumer advocacy website dedicated to helping consumers make an informed decision prior to hiring professionals such as counselors, realtors, physicians, and many others. Similarly, ForAccess provides a full-range of marketing and advertising services for its professional members, including blogs, podcasts, and virtual exhibits.

Duran knows how difficult it is for consumers to find the right professionals to work with. As a consumer, he also wants to find trustworthy and credible professionals to take care of him and his family. “The service that ForAccess provides, as far as allowing the consumer to prescreen professionals before contacting them, is revolutionary. The yellow pages state facts about the business. ForAccess.com provides professionals with a forum to communicate with potential clients, list their professional services as well as their community activities, and empowers consumers to make an informed decision about whom to do business,” said Duran.

When asked if he had any advice for consumers looking to hire professional services, Duran stated, “Just because you read it doesn’t make it true. People need to recognize who the source is promoting the information. ForAccess is an intermediary managing this type of information for consumers, and allowing the consumer to verify the veracity of a professional’s license.”

Duran supports ForAccess.com’s belief that the more you give others an opportunity to know you, the better you can connect with people who share your values and appreciate you and what you can provide. “Professionals can be very smart, very learned, but they miss the ball on the marketing side. As a business relationship manager, I know the value of putting yourself out there, connecting with your client, and building a bridge for long-term success,” concluded Duran.

ForAccess.com is a woman-owned web site supported by professionals for the purpose of sharing information with consumers for a more informed decision prior to purchasing or hiring services. Our mission statement is to make a positive difference in people’s lives. ForAccess.com also connects professionals with affiliate partners who offer discounted services such as phone service, marketing advice, and advertising rates. Our members tell us, “ForAccess.com helps me do what I want to do: focus on my clients, generate increased income, and save business operation time and money.” For more information call 210-614-9911, or go to www.ForAccess.com.
