Southampton, PA (FPRC) April 23, 2007 -- AdvantaPure is proud to announce the recent promotion of Jeffrey D. Johnson to the newly created position of Director of Software Solutions. Johnson’s focus will be on AdvantaPure’s line of RFID tracking products including GammaTag(TM), the company’s new gamma-sterilizable RFID tag. AdvantaPure’s sanitary tubing and hose, molded components, and RFID products service the pharmaceutical, biotech, food, and other clean-application industries.

“We needed an experienced team member to focus on our RFID items,” said Ken Baker, CEO. “The technology advances quickly, so we wanted someone dedicated to it in order to stay on top of the latest information and to remain at the forefront of developments. Jeff is the ideal person for this.”

Johnson started with NewAge Industries, Inc., AdvantaPure’s parent company, in 1990, working his way from sales representative to IT assistant to network administrator before the promotion to Director of Software Solutions. His new duties include developing, installing and supporting the company’s RFID products; on-site customer and prospect visits; and sales worldwide. The goal is to service AdvantaPure’s current RFID customers well and to help introduce GammaTag and Hose Track(TM) (RFID solutions for process equipment tracking) to applicable and as-yet-undiscovered markets.
