May 7, 2007 (FPRC) -- Lloyd Krieger, M.D., founder and Medical Director of Rodeo Drive Plastic Surgery, the first-and-only plastic surgery center on Beverly Hills’ ultimate address, is utilizing a unique form of liposuction which he calls Skin Activating Liposuction.
Whereas traditional liposuction removes fat, the surrounding skin can be left loose, minimizing the desired effect. The technique utilized by Dr. Krieger, activates the skin to help tighten the area resulting in a tauter, leaner-looking result. During the liposuction procedure, Dr. Krieger intentionally irritates the inner side of the skin causing it to tighten as it heals. The skin tightening combined with the removal of fat is what makes Skin Activating Liposuction so effective. The technique can be used anywhere liposuction is done, from the chin to the love handles to the thighs.
Because of the demand, Rodeo Drive Plastic Surgery has developed a specialized “center within a center” called LipoPlus, focusing solely on Los Angeles liposuction.
