May 18, 2007 (FPRC) -- James Sanders was a police officer for the Seal Beach Police Department (California) from 1966 to 1976. He is the author of two books: The Downing of TWA Flight 800 and Altered Evidence. James Sanders is also the co-author of First Strike: TWA Flight 800 and the Attack on America.

According to the book description of First Strike: TWA Flight 800 and the Attack on America, “September 11, 2001, did not represent the first aerial assault against the American mainland. The first came on July 17,1996, with the downing of TWA Flight 800. This book looks in detail at what people saw and heard on this fateful night.

First Strike explains how a determined corps of ordinary citizens worked to reveal the compromise and corruption that tainted the federal investigation. With an impressive array of facts, Jack Cashill and James Sanders show the relationship between events in July 1996 and September 2001 and proclaim how and why the American government has attempted to cover up the truth.”

Michael W. Streed is a 28 year veteran of law enforcement. Currently, he is a sergeant with the Orange Police Department (California). During his law enforcement career he has worked patrol and detectives. Moreover, Michael Streed is an internationally recognized forensic artist. He has assisted on a number of high-profiles cases such as the kidnapping and murder of Laura Bradbury, the kidnapping and murder of DEA Agent Enrique Camerena and the serial murdered Randy Kraft.

Michael Streed is the author of Sketchcops: True Stories from Those Who Draw the Line Against Crime. According to the book description, the book “explores the myths about police sketch artists and some of the amazing cases they’ve been involved with and even helped solve. In this book, the reader will learn about the techniques used to develop police sketches and meet some of the leading people in the field.”

Norman A. Traub retired from the Orange Police Department (California) where he was the Chief of Police. He also served as Interim City Manager for the City of Orange. Norman Traub’s law enforcement experience includes ten years as Chief of Police, Placentia Police Department, Management positions within the Culver City Police Department; and, as Interim Chief of Police for San Bernardino Community College and the Cities of Banning, Coachella and Murrieta.

Norman Traub received an AA Degree from Santa Monica College; BS Degree in Public Management from Pepperdine University; and, a MPA Degree from the University of Southern California. He is a graduate of the FBI. National Academy. Norman Traub is the author of the 1977 book, Officer Survival.
