The Gospel Spreads on Facebook Platform
It’s not just music and horoscopes that are available to Facebook users in the new Facebook platform. More than 500 Facebook users have already added the Daily Bible Verse application on their profiles in one day.

June 5, 2007 (FPRC) -- It’s not just music and horoscopes that are available to Facebook users in the new Facebook platform. More than 500 Facebook users have already added the Daily Bible Verse application on their profiles in one day.
The Daily Bible Verse application (http://apps.facebook.com/daily_bible_verse/) lets Facebook users add a Bible widget on their profile, which displays a new passage every day.
According to Joe Suh, the creator of the application, “it was designed for believers to see an encouraging verse, and non-believers who visit your profile to get a glimpse of the Gospel.”
Facebook user, Danielle Lee, says “What a great way to witness and let others hear the Good News each day.”
Hundreds of applications have been created since the Facebook platform opened to developers 2 weeks ago. The Daily Bible Verse is the first Facebook application catering to Christians on the social network. Many innovative widgets and applications are being added to the Facebook platform on a daily basis. Most allow users to express themselves and their passions.
“Christians want to express and show their faith on their profiles. The Facebook platform is an excellent way for Christians to do just that. And we plan on making more widgets for them” says Suh.
