July 10, 2007 (FPRC) -- COLTON, CALIF. - Omni West Group Inc. of Laguna Hills has awarded Hodgdon Miank Construction, Inc. the contract to build The Plaza at Lakeview Medical & Professional Center, a new $6.4 million project situated in the master-planned community of Canyon Estates in Lake Elsinore. The project, which has recently broken ground, features two upscale 33,000-square-foot two-story buildings and is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2008.

According to Aaron Miank, president of Hodgdon Miank Construction, Inc., one building is slated for professional offices, while the other is designed for medical offices and includes a patient drop off. The buildings will be sold or leased as office condominiums and will offer panoramic Valley and lake views and feature a high-end Mediterranean design. Freeway visible from Interstate 15, The Plaza at Lakeview provides an ideal location for professionals and medical professionals to practice in the diverse community of Lake Elsinore. Hinson Consulting & Design Architects, Inc. of Corona, Calif. is the project’s architect.

“We found there was a strong demand for professional medical/office buildings in the City of Lake Elsinore,” said Kip P. Dubbs, president and chief executive officer of Omni West Group. “Due to the high visibility of the project from the freeway, the city wanted more than a standard tilt-up building. They wanted this project to be a gateway to their city. The team at HMC was pivotal in our ability to maximize the site and provide Class A buildings to meet the city’s requirements while maintaining a feasible budget.

The Ontario office of Grubb & Ellis and Austin-Brockett of Temecula are handling the marketing, sales and leasing of the project.

Colton-based Hodgdon Miank Construction’s team has a combined experience in excess of 75 years in construction and real estate development. The company’s proven expertise from inception to completion in ground up, design build, construction management, tenant improvement and renovation have earned HMC Construction the trust and respect of our clients, subcontractors and peers.
