Info Taxi Has Launched Its Brand New Version
In an effort to support taxi companies and taxi drivers members of INFO TAXI, the new version of the unique major taxi-environment portal has been launched recently. New features and funny virtual gadgets to be activated on taxi companies websites like “Taxi company of the month”, a real time voted tool designating the most voted taxi company by users.

August 7, 2007 (FPRC) -- In an effort to support taxi companies and taxi drivers members of INFO TAXI, the new version of the unique major taxi-environment portal has been launched recently. New features and funny virtual gadgets to be activated on taxi companies websites like “Taxi company of the month”, a real time voted tool designating the most voted taxi company by users.
For taxis already registered at this taxi directory, the system has already asigned all of them an account from where taxi drivers or taxi company administrators or webmasters can edit, add or delete their taxi company information at their will and they can even publish news and article related to their taxi activity in their country and town of origin. From the user account, any taxi company member of Info Taxi will be able to perform the above mentioned changes but they can also modify their password once it had been sent to them on previous request. Any taxi service found in the Info Taxi database at this point may send an e-mail to info@infotaxi.org with title “My Infotaxi account” briefly explaining what is the name of their taxi company and the city where they develop their taxu services and from INFO TAXI will be sent the user name and password assigned to each of them by the system. Once they are in posess of their alpha-numeric password a taxi company can easily modify it from the administrative area of their account to one they can remember better.
For new comers, that is taxi services not listed with Info Taxi the new version offers them the chance to register as “New taxi company” (http://www.infotaxi.org/users/register.php) and start building their own Info Taxi page with features like company description, type of taxi services rendered to the customers, landline telephone, mobile phone, e-mail, IP telephony IDs, images and logos of their company as well as articles submission tool to publish useful information about their town related to taxi transport or tourism, information they consider useful especially for people visiting their city.
At the same time, the new version of Info Taxi has instated a powerful graphics tool to measure in real time important parameters for taxi companies such as: who are the most appreciated taxi companies by users with technical impediments in place to avoid the abusive votes in a row in order to offer accurate voting; what cities and what countries are most searched so taxi companies members of Info Taxi know how to better orient their advertising strategies inside and outside Info Taxi.
