New Books Launched at 6th Annual West Hollywood Fair, Sunday, September 30th.
Janet Goliger will introduce and sign her child safety book, "I Need to be SAFE: I'm Worth It! – How to Protect Your Child from Danger", at the 2007 West Hollywood Book Fair on Sunday, September 30, 2007 from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M at the West Hollywood Park, 647 N San Vicente Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90069. August 23, 2007 (FPRC) -- Janet Goliger will be signing her child safety book, "I Need to be SAFE: I'm Worth It! – How to Protect Your Child from Danger", at the Authors' Coalition and Red Engine Press booth on Sunday, September 30, 2007 from 11 A.M. – 12 P.M. (noon). Other authors signing are Carol Wood, Carolyn Howard-Johnson, Christine Alexanians, Kevin Gerard, Margaret Danielak, Erica Stux, Leora Krygier, Walter Brasch, Jay Bern, Sona Ovasapyan, Michael Wallach, Nance Rosen, and Carol J. Amato. Featured books include everything from nonfiction to poetry to genre fiction.
Janet Goliger is also the creator of The "C.L.A.S.S. Self-Defense" program, used in local schools to teach proactive child safety within physical education curriculums. The program has been credited with saving several children's lives. “Both the school curriculum and my book have received enthusiastic praise from parents and teachers“, says Goliger. “The students have fun during their class while actually learning how to avoid danger and escape if attacked by surprise.
