Google specifically prohibits the use of automated programs such as SEO Elite. Still this company and others similar to it continue to hype the value of their software to novice internet marketers. The results are disastrous and sometimes irreversible.
Wasted money, time, and a site that Google might decide to ban all because a rookie feel victim to the SEO elite scam. The claim is that search engine marketing is easy and top 10 results are obtainable with the purchase of a simple software program. The end result could not be further from the truth. There are horror stories of sites that completely vanish from Google, Yahoo, and MSN as a result of using such automated programs.
