In the article “Finding Help When Moving Your Data Center,” Sacco talks about the importance of hiring a professional to assist in the data center relocation process.
Sacco explains, when tackling a data center move, “It’s like doing a plumbing project yourself. The tools needed to do the job most effectively are so specialized and you rarely have them, such that it would take you three times the amount of time to do the job vs. a professional. In the case of a data center move, the right packing materials, rigging equipment, trucks, containers, etc., are all vital to a job well done.”
