Internet Marketing Guru Turned Social Entrepreneur Empowers Singaporeans To Attain Financial Independence

Joel Christopher on mission to help many become Internet-literate and eventually help them become entrepreneurs

September 21, 2007 (FPRC) -- Joel Christopher Remandaban contributes to the Make-A-Wish Foundation Singapore, Charity Telethon 2007, in an effort to raise funds for the foundation and contribute expert business knowledge in Internet Marketing.

Popularly known as The MasterListBuilder in the US, Joel got his nickname when he tripled the list to over 30,903 names in only 99 days back in 2001. He has grown his opt-in list to more than 200,000 newsletter subscribers in just five years.

Your Money Is In Your List

Joel regularly asks his audience, “What do you think is the most important part of your online marketing business? The product? Your website? Is it your sales letter or ad copy?” Answers are shouted out. “No,” he responds, shaking his head. “It’s your list.”

The opt-in list represents subscribers who voluntarily sign up or “opt-in” to receive products, services, or information. “It’s having massive numbers of people who want your e-mails,” Christopher affirms.

But building your own list is difficult, he remarks, “unless you have the right blueprint and the proper mentoring.” That’s where Christopher brings value to anyone trying to mine online gold. He says he’s figured out the right blueprint for teaching others how to build profitable online e-mail lists and mentors people how to use it.

On A Mission Through Social Entrepreneurship

First, he wanted to retire at the age of 45. He also wanted to buy his own island resort in the Philippines. And finally, he wanted to help Filipinos become Internet-literate and eventually help them become entrepreneurs. With this mission, he decided to pursue a career in Internet marketing. He also co-wrote a book on Internet marketing, which became a hit in Amazon.com. He eventually used the earnings accumulated through his Internet marketing business and publishing to finance the education of at least 14 Filipinos from his hometown in Tabango, Leyte. Joel said his successful Internet marketing business in the US is, however, just part of a bigger plan. It is a plan to empower individuals to attain financial independence and with that independence become social entrepreneurs of their own, each contributing to society in their very own special way. His vision is to nurture willing Singaporeans to become agents of social change. For more information, go to: http://www.MLBFunshop.com
