EffectiveSoft Announces Flex Team Formation

EffectiveSoft has staffed a professional team to develop Flex applications.

 Print View

September 27, 2007 (FPRC) -- Flex technology is a comparatively new web technology but it has already gained its popularity due to its friendliness both for a user and a developer. Foreseeing the need for Flex programmers in the near future EffectiveSoft organized its own course in Flex aimed to train the specialists from adjoining spheres (Flash design, Java programming, PHP programming, etc.)

The course took two months and included theoretical studies, practice, sharing experience and tests. The Flex team has been formed out of those course attendees who demonstrated best results at the final examinations. The team proved their capability and readiness to work by implementing a few projects. The example of a Flex project is presented in EffectiveSoft Portfolio.

EffectiveSoft has been among pioneers to productively use Flex capabilities. At present EffectiveSoft offers the following services based on Flex technology:
• Consulting, business analysis and specification development
• Flex/Flash programming
• Server-side programming with the usage of PHP, Java or .NET technologies
• Client-side programming
• Flash design

Flex is a complete, powerful application development solution for creating and delivering Rich Internet Applications (RIA) within the enterprise and across the web. Flex is based on Macromedia Flash software. It enables enterprises to create personalized, multimedia-rich applications that noticeably enhance user experience, improving the way people interact with the web. Flex is primarily a tool to create applications based on a set of easy extendable components that connects to data services on the web. Flex applications are written in MXML, but they compile into SWF files. Starting with Flex 2, these SWF files can be deployed just like regular Flash movies. They do not require any special servers.

“A lot of people like Flex because it lets you build flashy interfaces with transitions and animations and all kinds of fancy stuff, – says Alex Vergej, Flex Team Leader. - But the real power of flex is not in the eye candy, but in how easy it makes the process of building a rich internet application. It is conceptually simple, easy to get started with, and it delivers incredible results with just a few lines of code.”
