October 2, 2007 (FPRC) -- WASHINGTON—Jones Public Affairs, Inc., announced today the appointment of Jennifer Weissblum as Account Director. Bridging strong advocacy, media relations and scientific expertise, Weissblum will provide valuable contributions to the firm’s healthcare clientele. Weissblum’s arrival coincides with the agency’s relocation to a new downtown location.
Weissblum joins the firm with experience across a broad spectrum of disciplines, including advocacy, consumer education, product support and launch, media relations, and scientific research. Over the past six years, Weissblum has established strong capabilities in oncology and women’s health.

Prior to joining Jones Public Affairs, Weissblum worked for Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, and began her career at U.T. Southwestern Medical Center where she researched drugs and diseases associated with cholesterol metabolism.
