October 18, 2007 (FPRC) -- Two Heuer watches are among a large selection of Swiss timepieces at a quarterly wrist and pocket watches auction.

131 year old auctioneers Fellows & Sons is holding the sale in Birmingham, UK, on Monday 22nd October 2007: http://www.fellows.co.uk.

There are 472 modern and antique watches for sale: http://www.fellows.co.uk/Departments/Watches.asp.

Two of them have been made by famous Swiss manufacturer Heuer, now known as TAG Heuer.

There are also a number of Rolex and Breitlings which will be auctioned.

The Heuer watches are likely to attract much interest from bidders, including those who have used the firm’s comprehensive online catalogue at http://www.fellows.co.uk/ShowAuction.asp?sAuctionNumber=909, and are bidding online.

The first Heuer is valued at up to £2,000. It’s a gentleman’s 18 carat gold automatic Carrera chronograph wrist watch with a brushed finish dial and two black subsidiary dials. The date is at the 6 o’clock position and it has a tachymeter outer ring. The watch is fitted to an 18 carat rice link bracelet with folding deployment clasp.

The other Heuer watch is a gentleman’s Carrera automatic chronograph wrist watch with a dark blue dial. Again the date is at the 6 o’clock position; it has an orange fly back seconds hand, and an outer tachymeter. The watch has been fitted with a Breitling leather strap.
