“Kate: When you say earthlings you seem to emphasize ‘earth’ and tack ‘lings’ on the end. Why?
Quark: eA.R.T.H. stands for experiment to Alleviate Racial Tension and Hatred. Sometimes I feel it was a pity we interfered with this place at all. But then we will never know what would have happened and there is no point crying over damaged DNA.
Kate: As an earthling I find it difficult to be so cavalier about it. By the way, do you know what the aborigines called it?
Quark: I don’t think they called it anything special, Membrain may know.”
