November 12, 2007 (FPRC) -- Apatar, the open source leader in data mashup integration, today announced the availability of the Apatar Data Integration solution on salesforce.com's AppExchange, the world's first on-demand application directory. Apatar enables salesforce.com customers to simplify and accelerate their integration projects, and for a fraction of the cost than using traditional data integration solutions.

Apatar Data Integration allows organizations to aggregate and present information from disparate sources, without having to write a single line of code. Features of the Apatar Data Integration solution include:

• Visual job designer and mapping, which enable non-developers to design and perform transformations
• Connectivity to Oracle, MS SQL, CSV, flat files, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase, FTP, HTTP, Compiere ERP, Goldmine CRM, XML (local and web-based), WebDAV, Buzzsaw, LDAP, POP3, Amazon S3, and even Flickr
• Job scheduling

“The ROI on small data integration projects is simply too low to justify buying and installing proprietary middleware software,” said Renat Khasanshyn, CEO of Apatar, Inc. “We're pleased to bring the benefits of cost-effective open source data integration to salesforce.com customers."

“As the momentum for on-demand solutions continues to grow, salesforce.com customers are looking to the AppExchange for solutions that can integrate customer data with a variety of internal systems, including ERP and other custom applications," said Andrew Leigh, Director, integration product marketing, salesforce.com. "Salesforce.com customers can use the AppExchange to find dozens of different integration solutions that are right for their unique businesses needs. Apatar brings open source data integration to companies who previously found proprietary solutions expensive and difficult to implement.”
