Branston Offers Growers the Chance to Win a Mini Cooper at Bp07
Leading food producer, Branston Ltd, unveils on stand attractions as part of its sponsorship of British Potato 2007 - the UK potato industy's most important event.

November 12, 2007 (FPRC) -- The leading potato producer and sponsor of British Potato 2007, Branston Ltd, is looking forward to meeting up with current and potential growers, attracting them to its stand at BP07 with a chance to win a brand new Mini Cooper or one 10 bottles of vintage Champagne.
“At Branston, we are committed to ensuring a solid future for British potato growers. So it is extremely important to us to sponsor this, the most important event in the potato calendar,” says Branston Managing Director, Graeme Beattie. “Everyone in the industry knows that the last two seasons have been challenging, but we believe that this event is an excellent opportunity to restore confidence levels.
“We’re really looking forward to meeting our suppliers and forging new relationships with growers from around the country. Next year, we expect our requirements to increase considerably and that's great news for anyone who is, or wants to be, a Branston supplier.”
As well as the free prize draw and refreshments, representatives from Branston’s procurement and field services teams will be available throughout the event.
Branston is the UK's leading potato producers, with growers in Lincolnshire, Somerset and Abernethy in Scotland. The company supplies two thirds of the fresh potatoes sold in the UK's leading supermarket Tesco.
