January 10, 2008 (FPRC) -- Jet Airways’ JetPrivilege, the frequent flyer programme from India’s leading airline has entered into a ‘credit card points to JPMiles conversion’ partnership with two leading multi-national banks, Barclays Bank PLC and Deutsche Bank.

With this, valid Barclay Bank credit card (Barclaycard) holders based in India will have an opportunity to redeem their reward points towards JPMiles. Barclaycard holders need to accrue a minimum of 500 BarclaycardPoints to be eligible for the JPMiles conversion programme. Accrued BarclaycardPoints can be converted to JPMiles in a batch of 1450 Barclaycard Points. For every batch of 1450 BarclaycardPoints, JetPrivilege members will earn 500 JPMiles.

Similarly, valid Deutsche Bank credit card holders based in India will have an opportunity to redeem their reward points towards JPMiles. Deutsche Bank card holders need to accrue a minimum of 250 Deutsche Bank Reward Points to be eligible for the conversion of their reward points to JPMiles. These points can be converted to JPMiles in batches of 100 Deutsche Bank Reward Points. For every 100 such Points, JetPrivilege members will earn 100 JPMiles.

These partnerships will give the credit card holders of both banks more redemption options on their credit cards. The more they use their credit cards, the more points they will accrue, which can be converted into JPMiles for free flights on Jet Airways or its twelve airline partners.

Jet Airways offers its JetPrivilege members the highest standards of service and luxury, befitting India’s finest airline, and is proud to welcome Barclays Bank and Deutsche Bank credit card holders into the same.
